All proceeds from the store
are used to support library programs, so shop, shop, shop!
The store stocks used books, new CDs, library t-shirts, coffee mugs
and more.
Muscogee County Friends of the Libraries
The Friends of Libraries are concerned citizens who share the belief that strong public libraries are a valuable, intellectual, cultural, educational and recreational resource in the community. Friends are advocates who lobby the community and elected officials about the importance of Libraries. Friends are organizers who enrich and promote their Libraries.
The Muscogee County Friends of Libraries is a 501(c)3 organization and exists solely to support programming and operations of the Chattahoochee Valley Libraries. The Friends are dedicated to the concept of service as well as financial support of the Muscogee County Libraries. The Friends have a commitment to provide both cultural and educational programs for our community. Income from their used book sales and membership fees not only helps fund programming, but also helps buy books, recorded books, videos, CDs, DVDs, magazines, equipment and supplies for the Library, not covered in the budget. The principal activities of the Muscogee County Friends of Libraries include, but are not limited to the following:
