Looking for Volunteer Opportunities?

Would you like to work with books, computers or other library materials? Would you like to help behind the scenes to make materials ready for check-out? Would you like to help with special projects or programming? If so, join our volunteer team! Volunteer opportunities are available at all nine CVRLS libraries. Volunteers are a vital part of the Chattahoochee Valley Regional Library System! Volunteers provide an opportunity for enhancing and extending the highest quality in library service. CVRLS volunteers bring a wide range of skills, talents, and experience to the library. Volunteers give countless hours of dedicated service at all of our nine locations.

We are looking for volunteers who:

  • Commit to a weekly schedule
  • Work a minimum of 2 hours per week
  • Are 14 years of age or older (occasionally we have projects for 12 and 13 year olds)
  • Like people and books
  • Enjoy the hard work that goes into making the library a success
  • Posses good organizational and communication skills
